Biography

"It all started in Singapore in 2007. I was drawn back into an analogous temptation by a Leica M6, which I saw as a reflection in a shop window on the main street."

From that very moment, my life — as seen through the viewfinder — turned black, white and grainy. I immediately fell in love with photography and its unique ability to capture and preserve a single instant in time: both that moment's perfections and imperfections.

I subsequently relocated to Asia for a year with Bali as my base. My travels included Singapore, China, Indonesia and Japan. The latter was, for me, a true and somewhat magical symbiosis between the avant-garde and the conventionally traditional. My fascination for Japan continues to this day.
